Remembering the good old days

I miss the good old days when PC and Xbox 360 gamers could just sit and play for hours on end, without having to worry about job issues, homework, tests, church photos, catching the bus, did I mention homework?, and random interruptions.
When you could just sit and play when you feel like it. Remember the good old days with LAN parties and midnight gaming sessions? Remember Planet Marsto? Remember the free time to go to Big Robot Cafe`? Remember Empire Earth II, Starcraft, Warcraft: Defense of The Ancients, World of Warcraft, Warcraft III, Savage, Battlefront 2, Team Fortress 2 and Counterstrike: Source gaming sessions?
I miss those days. Those were great gaming days.

Fable 2 error

Oh my gosh. Doesn't anyone hate when you want to play a really fun game that you've had for a long time but you can't? I just hate that. Now there is a new error with Fable 2 for Xbox 360.
The error is like this:
1. Turn on console with game already in
2. sign in to xbox live
3. play Fable 2
4. Go to the main menu and click continue (from wherever your save is)
Now, it may look like it is loading but I will assure you that in 15 seconds you may say otherwise.
15 seconds later... WOAH it looks like the drive with all my downloadable content has been removed.
WRONG. This is just another unfixable pain-in-the-ass glitch that Lionhead hasn't fixed yet. Feel free to remove and replace all drives as much as you want. I did so, with my save on my MU and my DLC on my Hard Drive, but nothing ever worked. The 2 drives still work perfectly with ALL of my other games, yet it seems somehow that the best RPG that I have just doesn't want to recognize them. :(

I hosted many swf games and game Trainers a while back and I still get around 200 downloads a day on my Stick Arena hacker... lol, well the one I uploaded in sponsoring JAKE.

If Plunder was unblocked at moeller, I'm sure that many people would be downloading stuff from each other every day. Next thing you know, the Windows Live SKYDRIVE is unblocked!!!

Actually there's this client called Gladinet that I once had on my SD card and it allowed me to connect to my SkyDrive, Google Docs and other hosting accounts and set them up as network drives on Vista. I miss the good old days of people who are too dumb to know how to block a proxy...... :(

While doing my homework, I think that- having 2 computers is quite handy even if both of thier OSes suck- I shall finally use that Unetbootin app to make my 2gb flash drive into a portable version of Fedora 10. Now I can test this new OS from Linux (Red Hat) out anywhere!!!! All you have to do once the very simple program is finished is plug the flash drive in, turn that system on and boot from it (usually ThinkVantage button, F8 or esc if I'm not mistaken to boot from another source)

Connection through the Cloud

Even though icloud has a web browser in it (why? I'm already using a web browser!) it also has many things that can make life a bit more interesting for users. Widgets, for example, are just like the Windows Vista Gadgets and reside within the sidebar to the right of the "online computer".
I should try to make an internet-based Window that is based off of the Internet Explorer engine and will ONLY go to icloud. A program that only went to the icloud would be of a huge use and then prove the function of the internet browser embedded in iCloud. The many ways you can orient and move the files around in iCloud's XML-coded atmosphere makes it feel like you truely ARE using a computer! I love the side menu with the drop-down menus that give you access to settings and tools when you need them. Along with a uniqui My Documents folder and many other unique features, this revolutionary Internet Computer design will surely lead to better computer-led lives for many Americans and on-the-go people who don't usually own a computer.

Yesterday I found out that I could play or run anything I could possibly imagine from internet storage, which could be networked to my computer to appear like an external drive- tricking my computer into thinking that wherever I have internet, a large external SSD or FD is connected.
Today I remembered all of the features of our Vista sidebar and also looked at some of the cool ADVANCED Linux computers on www.eracks.com and used Google Talk to call a friend. Then I txted a friend using Skype, Wrote up a paper in OpenOffice, checked email and social networking sites in my iCloud and finished up using our school's ExamView to take a test.
Without computers in our education- well, wouldn't that be a shame?- I'm sure this would be a totally different learning experience!

Yea, this is an amazing game. though a little old, I dusted it off and took a while to play this sweet Fps. After playing Battlefield: Bad Company on Xbox 360, THIS game looked like a 1/5 in graphics but certainly beat the Xbox 360 version in terms of singleplayer skirmishes and Multiplayer modes. Hopefully DICE will come out with a futuristic Battlefield game for the 360 soon!

Wow!! GM sure is doing a lot to change how people buy thier cars this year. Think of all the economic and environmental effects that are going into thier situation. I'm sure that nearly-65-billion-dollar bailout from our gov't will help them out. Hopefully the Hummer division of General Motors is partially shut down, as stopping making many bigass Hummers will save them a lot of money and also stop rednecks and other potential gas-guzzlers from buying another SHAME TO THE ENVIRONMENT. Yes, the blackberry Storm. Haven't really played around with one yet. But, I've heard that this is a really kool piece of technology. Even though most parts of the "touchscreen" click like there's buttons underneath, this is still a pretty sweet thing. For the most part, this is RIM's attempt towards the iPod Touch or iPhone. I really want one, but I'm sure it costs a lot. Luckily, I have a contract with Verizon Wireless already.
........O well, time to get in the shower. After all, even though I'm on break and can do whatever I still need to look "presentable"- as dad says.
Well seeya. I'm going to get my hands on a test model of this, sooner or later. When I do, I'll be happy and surely toy with it. This is a great achievement for RIM. There are many games and "Apps" available for easy installation on this as well.
I'll give a full description once I test one out.

I hope everyone else out there is having a great Christmas break!! For my birthday- December 24th, suckers!!! For my b-day, I got an 250gb flash drive which is literally almost as thin as my iPod Touch and a couple Xbox 360 games & the iPod-complementing Dock/Clock. Who out there likes RPGs???? I love 'em!!! I recieved- GREATIOUSLY!- Infinite Undiscovery and Fable II for the games section of my birthday. Let me tell you, these games rock!!!! YAY FOR THE ALMIGHTY XBOX 360, especially since the sound and graphics of Infinite Undiscovery are so amazing they lokk almost not-of-this-world-ish. Well, I'm goin to bed right after this delish post. Feel free to tell all your friends about my blog!!! If there is ANYthing to get your teenage kids for xmas, here are my 3 top ideas, 1. an Xbox 360 Yea!!!!!, 2. either an iPhone (AT&T) or a Blitz (VZW), or 3. an Eee PC. The Eee PC, as mentioned on my http://ping.fm/iwdRo blog, is a very wonderful Internet/Social Networking/Business tool on the go! My Blitz phone, although not a touchscreen is a very unique QWERTY Slider within it's own right.
This is random but- HEY, I ACTUALLY TOOK A SHOWER TODAY!!! I also finally played my lying-there-for-5-weeks-Xbox-360 game system. Well, getting back to the topic of my birthday and christmas break, I love it. This blog is a wonderful place for me to share my emotions and excitement over certain things in my life with you, my wonderful readers.

Well, now closing this post, I am currently upsessed with 1. my new portable HDD and all of the software-emulation possibilities, 2. the Eee PC and how much I need to save up for it, 3. Infinite Undiscovery and 4. HOW MUCH I REALLY WANT TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS WITH ALL OF MY MOELLER BUDDIES.

Yes, it is true that most companies would grow with time, like Microsoft or Apple or Sony.
NOPE, not Linux. Even the kids on the Ohio State campus can disagree. There are many different interpretations of what the other types or distrobutions of Linux are. All of the modified Operating Systems under Linux haven't been created from the ground up, no they have been branched off or added-onto the original Linux code originally created by Linus Torvalds- a finnish man who speaks Swedish. When you see those Distrobution-creaters out there developing and modifying thier way into history from now on, you don't say Look at them go! or Wow, they've grown!!! you say "Hey man!! Look at them Dev!", of course keeping in mind that Dev is only short for Develop. I have recently spoken to a friend of my father- who is a Technological Engineer. He used to work for the U.S. Army- and he says that they use Red Hat Enterprise Linux in many of the higher-up parts of corporations. Because of Enterprise's functionality with many Windows-Coded programs and its customization options, that Operating System is surely very appealing to those businessmen. I have recently heard- while scouring forums, reading TechRadar, and visiting Linux.org- that a new, BOLDLY ENGINEERED Dual-Touchscreen laptop will be coming to the United States of America soon. This awesome piece of technology is only widely known in the Asian region for its amazing appeal to Music Geeks and apple iTouch lovers. Well, besides that the laptop will have to be specially-engineered to work as a normal laptop and the Operating System- if there is one, and not just some proprietary interface- is still unknown but is hinted to be a special Windows-Emulating distro, everything seems like it will turn out ok at the reception in the U.S. of this amazing machine. To hint to my readers about where to find one like the one D.T. laptop that I'm talking about, google Canova or Dual Touchscreen netbook. What I'm talking about is a gaming/internet-focused/custom application laptop that will have the ability of being an eBook Reader, a normal laptop (with a touchscreen functioning as a keyboard), a game player- woo hoo, 2 player touchscreen BlasterBall!!!, and also as a hub for managing wireless connections and Mind-Mapping possibilities ON THE MAIN SCREENS.

Seriously, what can it do?
Never buy the first CS of photoshop, always get CS3 or CS4. There are many forms of images you can save the picture as and many effects you can apply to them. Taking a design class is very helpful to extend your horizons with Photoshop and see what this marvelous tool can do for you. Remember, this is just a short summary on one of the most POWERFUL tools to date.
PHOTOSHOP you must buy, but GIMP is free and you can use GIMP (a smaller version of Photoshop) on literally any operating system though it is mainly shipped with Ubuntu and E-Live linux distrobutions.

Halo Wars new info

Yes, Halo Wars will be out soon. From what I've learned, this awesome remix of the old Halo games- in RTS form- is going to be a great hit from the get-go for Real-Time Strategy gamers. Xbox.com- thier datings for upcoming games is kind of complicated right now and those complications in the set times have created issues, making many people think that these games that are "Upcoming" are already out. Well, www.xbox.com says that Halo Wars will officially be out on 3/3/09! I haven't gotten my hands on a playable demo of this wonderful item yet, but I'm sure that it is amazing.

Eee PC and iCloud

I know this pretty much has nothing to do with video games, but I really enjoy the Eee PC!!! If you look up the Eee PC 1000 on Amazon, you will find an amazing piece of technlogy. The main features that this item uses are the Internet, StarOffice Suite 8, Firefox, Webcam, Skype, and many more features and upgrades. Of course I'm talking about the Linux version of the Eee PC. Windows XP sucks and is outdated. Windows 7 and Linux are the future!!!!

The above-pictured item is something called the iCloud. It is a computer that is mainly streamed over the internet from a datacenter somewhere in the world. The iCloud service is free and you can access it anywhere you have a connection to the internet and an Internet Explorer web browser. At the moment, however, Xcerion is working on expanding thier leading Service industry and making this Internet-OS available on Firefox first and then Safari. aAs of today and right now though, you may only log on or view this from Internet Explorer.

But, I have to put together the codes. When its all finished, It'll be based off of Liamscape 3.0

Tales of Pirates ARMY!

On Tales of Pirates, I'm thinking of creating an ARMY! It's going to be a guild that will function like an army of combatants. Log on to Mystic Ocean>Black Sea and go to Argent. At the bar, talk to the pirate informer about my guild. Just as a forewarning, I'm lvl 39 and a 1/2 STILL, so once I'm 41 I can make the guild. My online name is AlEnator. I'm a hunter>SS. I've been working on gaining money lately in the game so that I can create a Fairy Shop. send AlEnator an in-game message saying you came to this site when you wanna talk about the upcoming guild. When my majestic Guild is done with the planning stage and I've become lvl 41, I'll post on here (If not remind me to). AlEnator is Best Friends with Ryut, goddessthebuty, and FARTknocker3000, and Oranos in the game. Talk to them if you ever want to know when I get on. well, I'm gunna go lvl in the game now. CAN'T WAIT TO START OUR ULTIMATE GUILD!
